The notion of ‘third place’ is all about the social and casual meeting places where we humans choose to spend our time. One’s third place, as aside to the first place being home and the second place being the workplace, often comes about as a result of our basic human need to interact and be social.
The characteristics of a third place are mostly represented by affordable food and drink, they are close in proximity, they often involve regulars, they are both welcoming and comfortable, and both new and old friends should be found there.
